Endeavor Snowboards
The idea of starting a snowboard company was something our crew always spoke about. When World Industries canceled their adult range of snowboards, Max Jenke was left without a board sponsor. Testing almost every brands boards for a season, Max came to the conclusion that there was a serious opportunity in snowboarding to do something new and innovative. None of the products really represented anything - there was no meaning behind the brands, nothing that they stood for to really get behind.
An opportunity presented itself in the summer of 2001 to make some sample boards in Oregon. Max jumped on it immediately and reqruited the help of his friends Scott Serfas, Randy Ross, Chris Martin, and Rob Dow. They went down to the factory and made the first prototypes. Shortly after, Max hopped on a plane and flew to Europe in order to convince Paavo Tikkanen to join the crew and make something out of nothing.
A year later, the first range of boards were produced and shipped.
After four years, Endeavor continues to be rooted firmly in the snowboard industry, designing and manufacturing superior quality products for the high-end leaders who set the trends. Forward thinking and creative strategies have contributed to Endeavor’s successes to date and will continue to drive the construction and reconstruction of how a snowboard brand operates.
