Some say if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it – so we didn’t, K2 just took the legendary freestyle performance of the Darkstar and added a super playful Jib Rocker to the design and, voila, the Parkstar is born. It’s twin tip design and medium flex defines true freestyle versatility. Touting the same hyper progressive sidecut and centered stance for precise response and easy maneuverability, the Parkstar’s genius lies in it’s ability to dominate the peak, get to the park and lay waist on everything in between.

If everything from sidecut to flex to construction is different on a WWW and a Gyrator, why would the ROCKER be the same? That’s why we have created performance specific rocker for every style of riding. From Powder Rocker to All Terrain Rocker, to Jib Rocker, there is a rocker for everyone. What level do you ROCK?

JIB ROCKER IN THE K2 PARKSTAR

Rocker Range: 6-2mm/ 120 - 160mm

The park and rail Rocker with the automatic press. JIB Rocker allows for a loose buttery feel while jibbing around the park or slaughtering the streets. Whether you’re pressing boxes or just playing around on the flats, JIB Rocker has a forgiving non-edge catching feel that allows you to pull off even the most wild combos while the flat area allows you to kick into rails like you were on a skateboard at GUTH.

W2 CORE PROFILE

Three species of renewable wood are assembled to optimize strength, reduce weight, and enhance damping without the addition of other materials.

HYBRITAPER Tip

Hybritaper takes our Hybritech Construction, and tapers out the core at the tip and tail to reduce the swing weight. K2 blends the tips from a cap into a thin sandwich removing material where you don’t need it.

Carbon extends from the inserts to the very edge of the board’s contact points for maximum power and pop combined with a fine tuned edge hold and increased torsional stability.

HYPER PROGRESSIVE SIDECUT DESIGN

This sidecut mellows out the transitions leaving you with the most predictable, best all around riding board on the market. Responsive enough for high-speed power carves but smooth enough to butter your way from the peak to park. An infinite number of different radius are blended together flawlessly from mellow in the tips, to more aggressive in the center.
