But the shovel with the large aluminium blade also provides an effective aid for the next kicker in the backcountry or a snowed-in car. The shovel with the sharp blade even shifts great volumes in compact snow. The innovative folding mechanism means the rescue aid is ready for action in seconds and can be stored without taking up much room.

When directed the right way, the avalanche shovel turns into a pick. The oval cross-section of the shaft creates maximum stability, whilst the ergonomic handle ensures that effort is not wasted when digging.
