Here at Milosport, we are stoked to partner up with Ride Snowboarding, as they introduce new snowboard binding designs.  Ride bindings have always been manufactured with metal baseplates, making the bindings very responsive, but somewhat rigid and uncomfortable.  Now, Ride has introduced matching aluminum designs, (A series) and composite designs (C series).  Here is a small video clip that shows the similarities and differences.

Both series feature the same aluminum heel cup, and you can choose aluminum or composite baseplates to dial in the exact response you are looking for.

A - SERIES

THE  A-Series Chassis is built with a forged aluminum heel-cup (all new construction) bonded with a new stamped aluminum tray.

This is for the customer that prefers the precise feel of aluminum (current Ride binding customers).

— Optimized feel of aluminum

  • Reactive flex power transfer without rigidity

  • Precise feel

  • Light weight

  • Durable

— Less heavy hardware/overlapping metal that makes the bindings stiff

— Ability for more torsional roll in the heel

— Eliminates slipping heelcups

C - SERIES

The C-Series Chassis is built with the forged aluminum heel-cup (same new part as A-Series) bonded with a state of the art composite tray.

This is for the customers that prefer the feel of plastic (customers currently relegated to use competitor bindings).

— Performance of aluminum heelcup

  • Power transfer

  • Perfect fit (toe/heel centering)

  • Durability

— Feel of composite tray

  • Damp and less reactive than aluminum

  • Different flex properties than aluminum

  • Different composite compounds for different models
